AX Multi-Match rods each have their own extension that attaches to the butt
to add an extra foot of length - without changing the action. The concept
effectively gives you two rods in one and, like the Antares AX Feeder rods,
they are lighter and slimmer than ever before. There are four models
beginning with the 390/420, which is designed for light line work through to
the more robust 420/450 SPC that’s at home tackling large fish on heavy
lines.
As with all rods bearing the Antares name, the highest quality fixtures and
fittings are used throughout including Fuji guides and reel seats. You’ll be
hard pushed to find a range that oozes as much class.
