 When
Soft Steel was launched over a decade ago, it quickly established itself as
the line of choice for many carp anglers. Having experienced huge success
with the Specialist Carp Line, two further Soft Steel items followed,
Specialist Mono and Tapered Mono leaders Fox International have
taken Soft Steel one step further, and added a camouflage effect. This
exciting feature uses modern technology to change the colour of the
monofilament every 15 to 20cm which breaks up the outline; a major advantage
in clear water conditions. Whilst the focus and individual characteristics
vary between all Soft Steel items, independent laboratory tests reveal them
all to be extremely strong, supple and lose very little strength when wet or
knotted.
SOFT STEEL CAMO
Camo Soft Steel uses advanced dyeing technology to create a 'camo' pattern,
with five different tonal colours, that alternate every 15-20cms. This
breaks up the shape and appearance of the line helping it to blend in and
disappear, whatever the surroundings. A definite edge when in the pursuit of
carp in clear waters.
